Places To Check Out In Fort Collins This St. Patrick’s Day

March 8, 2016

On March 17th, the Irish and Irish-at-heart around the world will celebrate Ireland’s patron saint with every shade of green and plenty of beer. Fort Collins is no exception, so make sure to check these places out for some serious Irish fun.

Lucky Joe’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade:
Downtown Fort Collins will kick off festivities at 10 a.m. with Lucky Joe’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Typically the parade features over 80 floats showcasing Fort Collin’s businesses and organizations in their best Irish spirit. The streets of Downtown Fort Collins will be packed with thousands of green-clad people of all ages, so make sure to get there early to snag yourself a good viewing spot. Lucky Joe’s Sidewalk Saloon has sponsored this Fort Collins tradition for over 30 years, so put on your shamrocks and take part in this popular annual festivity.

Old Town Irish Party:

Old Town Square in Downtown Fort Collins puts on an amazing Irish Party with Wilbur’s Total Beverage. Live Irish bands, bagpipers and drummers will keep people of all ages in that Irish state of mind after Lucky Joe’s Parade. At Old Town’s Irish Party, you’ll find a wide variety of food and entertainment (and green beer). Come celebrate the luck of the Irish with Guinness, Odells, Bailey’s, and Jameson. The Irish Party in Old Town Square is family-friendly and will surely make for a memorable St. Patrick’s Day.

Lucky Joe’s Sidewalk Saloon:

Lucky Joe’s is Old Town Fort Collin’s friendly combination of Irish Pub and Old Western Saloon. On March 17th, you can enjoy free live music all day long to keep you feeling green. Come in for a laid-back old-fashioned pub experience with home-cooked food and impressive beverage list. Whether you want a pint, a car bomb, good food, or just a good time, Lucky Joe’s is the place to be on St. Patrick’s Day.

Pappy’s Corner Pub:

Pappy’s Corner Pub in west Fort Collins is a genuine neighborhood pub that will host live music along with the best in Irish pub fare and drinks. Pappy’s provides that traditional Irish feeling every day of the year, so you can be sure their door will be open to celebrate with Irish pride on Saturday, March 17th.

Mulligan’s Pub and Sports Club:

Last year, Mulligan’s on South College hosted three days of live music and Irish dancing on St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Make sure to check them out this year for what is bound to be another great celebration. Mulligan’s has the best variety of Irish pub food, not to mention plenty of craft beers and premium spirits. Mulligan’s is the place where great food, drinks, and friends can come together, decked out in green, to keep the Irish spirit alive.

Sharin’ O’ The Green 5K:

What better way to start a day of flowing green beer than with a 5k run/walk. This will be the 17th annual Sharin’ O’ the Green 5k and is the perfect opportunity to show off your best Irish costume and greenery while supporting a great cause. All funding from the race goes to supporting Partners Mentoring Youth, so bring your kids to the Shamrock Scurry, then race yourself, and afterward enjoy a pint of Odell beer to celebrate.
