With a population of nearly 145,000, the unemployment rate is 4.3 percent, 2 percent below the national average and recent job growth is still rising. If you have kids in the public school system, you can expect 19.1 students per teacher.  More than 70 percent of high school graduates in the public school system enroll in a college or university immediately after graduation.

After a long workout, residents can enjoy a refreshment at one of the many of breweries in the area that are award-winning craft brewers.   Fort Collins is becoming quickly known as a beer craft brewer mecca. Popular breweries like Odell and New Belgium are some of the big players, but there are several other craft brewers that easily make taste-testing a popular activity with friends.
